This tab may be used to take "screen shots" and save a P3 screen image in a file on your personal computer.
Click Capture Image to start an image file transfer from the P3 to the P3 Utility program.
The bitmap takes about 35 seconds to transfer at 38400 bps, and approximately 270 seconds (about 4 1/2 minutes) at 4800 bps. The image is displayed as it arrives, bottom up.
For best results, let the program proceed until the image capture completes.
When the image has been completely transferred to the PC, the image may be saved to a PNG file using the File - Save As menu item.
The image is saved in a 480 x 272 pixel 256-color PNG format. The file size will vary based on the complexity of the image.
The image is also placed onto the Clipboard, and may be pasted into various image editors (e.g., the OS X Preview application). These image editors may be used to save the image in other formats.
